Something that has inspired me and so many, guitar. Famous musicians like Eric Clapton, John Mayer, and Jimmy Page all allow us to see and hear the tremendous effects of both the guitar and music. And it is guitar LEGENDS like these who inspire so many to become better musicians. With their famous riffs, emotional lyrics, and cutthroat melodies, they were and are the true innovators of music who make way for musicians like Ed Sheeran and James Bay.

Now over the past several years, people have been saying that the electric guitar industry is dying, and I believe this is preposterous! As long as there is still a trace of those old blues and rock songs in this world someone will be inspired to learn, write, and create music with the guitar or any instrument for that matter. Because music is emotion, rhythm, and melody all coming together to convey a message.

The goal for these “messages,” is to connect to other people in the world and allow them to feel what you feel and connect to the lyrics and melody of your song. And in my opinion, once you can connect with an audience, then you’ve succeeded. Because music is so much more than notes on a page, it’s a language.
